如果你看過海上鋼琴師，你還記得男主角1900第一次愛上一名女子，但害羞的他只能待在船內，隔著窗戶偷看她，而那些無法用言語表達的愛意，都在1900的琴聲中一點一滴的訴說了。那是我覺得在這部電影裡最美的一幕，不管過了幾年，那一幕都清晰地烙印在腦海中。

那時，他所彈奏的曲子即是專輯中第三首曲目「PLAYING LOVE」。

這首電影名曲，是義大利作曲家顏里歐莫里柯內的作品之一。

我記得我到了寄宿家庭時，寄宿家庭的爺爺是義大利人，我問他他是否知道顏里歐莫里柯奈？

他說當然，他以顏里歐莫里柯奈為榮。

Have you ever watched the movie "The Legend of 1900"?
Do you remember the scene that the main character 1900 gaze at the girl he got attracted by because he was too shy to show his love to her. The only thing he did was to express his love by the music, and the song he played was "PLAYING LOVE", which was composed by Italian musician Ennio Morricone.
The grandfather in my homestay is from Italy. I asked him if he's ever heard about Ennio Morricone. "Yes," said he, "Ennio Morricone is one of the greatest composers, I'm very proud of him."

The sound colour of the cello sounds mellow and a little bit sad for me.
I think it's kind of the sound of heartbroken.
This album recorded many of the film scores of Ennio Morricone performed by Yo-Yo Ma's soft playing.
