Today I am gonna introduce this wonderful place to you, and I hope I would have a chance to visit here again soon, I think the scenery in Wintertime will be awesome!
This place is near Miaoli city, its name is Lavender Cottage. It's a quite famous name of resorts, known for its various products made from Lavender and species of plants in the mint family. Furthermore, it sells meals made of some herbs and special drinks. It attracts lots of tourists every year.There is three display garden in Taichung, Hsinchu, and Miaoli. This time I went to Miaoli Branch.
Lavender is a symbol of this place, besides, the colour of Lavender, purple, also becomes the sign in this place. You can see purple in this small farm everywhere.
The price of the ticket is NTD$200, if you go on weekends, you are offered a $100 coupon which you can spend in their stores and restaurants; on weekdays you can get a $200 coupon.
Start from the entrance, you need to walk though a lovely arch with climbing vines.
Then a small wooden house is in your sight. It's a small wooden house in your sight. It sells ice cream of Lavender flavor, you must try it as Lavender flavor is unusual to find in Taiwan.
After tasting the special ice cream, you can see another wooden house near it. It's a store which sells products of mind family. Girls may become crazy when they walk inside this house. The faint smell of herbs filled this wooden house. It sells something like handmade soaps, shampoos and herbal tea, etc. Most of them are made from Lavender or other kinds of herbs.

You can also buy the postcards here, it also sells stamps, so you can write something on it and send it directly.Next stop is the restaurant. You can go inside and order a meal if you are hungry or some drinks when you feel tired after walking. The view from this restaurant is awesome, you can see the beautiful lake near this place!! So I deeply recommend that you have to go inside and enjoy the atmosphere if you have enough time :D (must try the water of Lavender flavour as well :D )

In front of the restaurant is the hillside. Walk up and you can see the lake from the mountain top.
You can find a place to sit and see the breathtaking view of the lake.

There is a tree which is entwined by ropes. You can take the wish papers from the desk which is near the tree, and write down your wishes, then tie the wish papers to the rope. Then we can walk down to the last place. Walking down from the top of the mountain, we are going to the lakeside trail. Actually this lake is a part of the Mingte Dam, which mainly supplies water for Miaoli City.
